Updated: 27/01/22
To support you with your development as an instructor we normally run an Instructor Training Day, which was scheduled for 20th February. However, due to the high number of Covid cases we are experiencing, there are some real challenges regarding the proposed indoor elements of the day, due to the large number of people that we place in fairly small rooms, as well as the potential for some of the training team to be unavailable due to having to self-isolate. Each of these factors has the potential to seriously impact our ability to deliver the events as we would like to, so we have made the decision to move to change our plan for the delivery of these ITD’s.
So instead there will now be a series of short online sessions focusing on a variety of key topics to help instructors get set for the season ahead. The NI team misses seeing you all, wo we are working on a number of other opportunities to get together, possibly in smaller groups. In the meantime, don’t be a stranger give me a call or email.
These free sessions will all take place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, starting 9th February with training scheme updates from Amanda Van Santen, Sailing and Windsurfing Chief Instructor, and Rachel Andrews, Chief Instructor for Powerboat, Personal Watercraft and Inland Waterways.
Each session will be recorded and all instructors are invited to register. If you are unable to attend, you will be able to catch up afterwards.
