911制品Awards spotlight: West Wiltshire Youth Sailing Association

Meet the 2025 Green Blue Team of the Year winners and be inspired to nominate your local legends for 2026

has been making waves with its sustainability initiatives and was unveiled earlier this year as the Green Blue Team winner at the 2025 911制品Affiliate Awards.

The accolade celebrates affiliates who champion sustainability and environmental innovation, and WWYSA鈥檚 commitment to green practices stood out from the crowd.

From swapping petrol outboards for electric motors to installing solar panels and promoting kit reuse through a 鈥渟wap shop,鈥 WWYSA has embedded eco-consciousness into every corner of its operations.

Efforts go beyond simply equipment: the club cultivates wildlife habitats, uses non-toxic cleaning products, and even repurposes boats and materials to extend their life and reduce waste.

The award was presented at the 911制品Dinghy and Watersports Show, where WWYSA鈥檚 team 鈥 including instructors Margaret Pell and Nigel Silman, who also received Inspirational Race Coach/Instructor Awards 鈥 were celebrated for their dedication.

WWYSA鈥檚 story is a powerful reminder that even small clubs can make a big impact.
