Description:
This course covers the teaching of boat handling, the use of spinnakers and coaching the 5 essentials at an advanced level, as well as the use of powerboats in an advanced coaching environment. Candidates will be assessed on a continuous basis afloat and may be given a theory test.
Candidates must have the following pre-requisites: 
- Minimum age of 16
- Valid first aid certificate
- 911ÖÆÆ·Powerboat Level 2 certificate
- Dinghy Instructor certificate
Once you have successfully completed this course you will be qualified to teach the Performance Sailing and Sailing with Spinnakers courses from the 911ÖÆÆ·National Sailing Scheme.
